Francis Mugoya is the co-founder and Executive Director of Watoto Wasoka, with over a decade of experience in organizational development, social impact, and sport for development. He has led programs engaging over 6,000 slum children annually, including FIFA Diversity Award-winning initiatives.
With an MBA from Makerere University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Monitoring and Evaluation, Francis has spearheaded strategic partnerships and high-impact community programs. He is also a 2024 Gratitude Network Fellow and has previously led Viva con Agua’s operations in Uganda.
Francis brings firsthand experience, having grown up in the same communities Watoto Wasoka serves. His deep connection to the mission fuels his passion for creating opportunities for slum children to access education, health, and leadership development through football.
