Vivienne Mulema is a pharmacist with over 15 years of global health experience, working across Africa and Asia to strengthen healthcare systems and improve access to quality and affordable medicines and diagnostics. She has collaborated with governments, non-governmental organizations, patient groups, and industry partners to design and implement impactful health programs.
Her expertise in leading the growth, strategic design, execution, and evaluation of programs that address barriers to basic health services for underserved communities—particularly women and children—strongly aligns with Watoto Wasoka’s mission to transform the lives of vulnerable children in slums.
"In a country as young as Uganda, Watoto Wasoka represents an opportunity to ensure we don’t leave any child behind. I am honored to work with a dynamic, grassroots-focused yet nationally-oriented organization that is creating a difference within each child’s immediate environment. I am incredibly excited to support Watoto Wasoka in this next phase of their journey as they lead the charge to nurture and empower young leaders of today and tomorrow. I hope to see the organization’s model scaled up so that more children across the country have the opportunity to learn and connect in a movement of hope to live up to their fullest potential."
