For Kilabila Angel Shalom, affectionately known as “Kibanda,” the journey from the narrow streets of Kosovo to the gates of St. Noa Girls Secondary School, one of Uganda’s top institutions is nothing short of remarkable. Raised in a humble background, Kibanda’s passion and talent for football opened doors education alone could not.

Through the support of Watoto Wasoka and Sparta 09, she earned a full scholarship that now allows her to pursue both academic excellence and her football dreams in an empowering environment. A gifted midfielder with relentless determination, Kibanda is already making waves both on and off the pitch.

“It’s been quite a journey. I’m so thankful for this opportunity, I’ll keep pushing forward in both my education and football, Am happy to have also represented the school at the CAF schools championships in Ghana.” She Says With confidence. Kibanda’s story is a powerful reminder of how sport can change lives, and why investing in girls’ potential remains at the heart of our mission.
