It has been a while since you last read from us. Whereas the pandemic was an excuse, we cannot say we have been particularly work-shy as you could follow from our social media platforms. We are excited to write you again and to share about our work through this newsletter and the many to follow.

We are thrilled to share some really great news from the last few weeks. We were both humbled and thrilled to be honoured as one of the three finalists for the FIFA Diversity Award 2019. Though it couldn't any higher than this, there’s still so much more to do.

Welcome to our first edition of the news-letter in 2019. We are beaming with excitement as we dive deeper into the new year. Not so long ago, we finalised yet another exciting edi-tion of the Christmas Camp in Nakaseke, all made possible with your support.

Now the Primary Schools League has al-ready kicked off, and with it all the excitement it brings. The grand Slums Derby is not far away. Football 4 WASH is on course.

Welcome to our October 2018 Newsletter. We are thrilled to share some really great news from the last few weeks. We found a venue for the 2018/19 Christmas Camp. It’s happening again and we can’t wait to welcome 2.500 kids to the 7th edition of Uganda’s biggest football festival.

Welcome to the July 2018 edition of the Watoto Wasoka Newsletter! We had quite an eventful month of July and start of August. We kicked off the last month with the on‐filed training with our partners Coaches Across Continents (CAC) for a one‐week training with over 40 community coaches in Kampala. This is the second year of our 3‐year Hat‐Trick partnership with CAC.

Welcome to yet another edition of our newsletter. We are still blown away by the amusement from the Slums Derby. Our on‐filed training with Coaches Across Continents returns. The Primary Schools League heats up as the finale comes up in a few days. The girls’ gala is back for the second edition as a part of the schools league this month. Football 4 WASH continues.

We are happy to let you know that you can already donate to the fundraiser. The Primary Schools League 2018 is running. Football 4 WASH with Viva con Agua continues to thrive. Welcome to our first newsletter of the year. One month into 2018, and we are still excited about the progress we made in the past year. 2017 was a great year of football and learning for thousands of slum kids in Uganda. We hope you had a great 2017 too and that your festive season was as great. Thank you for all the support last year, and we hope you will be part of our journey in 2018.
